| Worldwide Progress |
 |
|
We who are followers of Christ desire to participate
in His mission of reaching all peoples for Him.
What is important to God, matters to us. WORD
To HEART was created to
give God's people an opportunity to very easily become
involved in God's Kingdom work. We believe that
if Christians are able to fully understand how God is working and the worldwide
progress
that is taking place every month, they will be excited
to participate in His Kingdom mission. We believe
He is leading us to pursue the goal of: God's
Word, to every language, in our time!

| Prophecy |
 |
|
Did you know that when the goal of God's
Word to every people group is achieved, that it will
fulfill critical prophecies from the Bible about Christ's return?
God has clearly stated in Revelation 5:9,
7:9, and 14:6 that every language will be represented
on that final day when we meet Him. This must be a
very important objective for God, in that it is repeated
3 times and is a necessary requirement prior to Christ's
return. Matthew 24:14 tells us that "His Word will
be preached to the whole world, as a testimony to
all people groups, and then the end will come." Strategic
planning requires that we start with God's end in
mind, and then structure our strategy to target His
goal for mankind.

| How Many Languages |
 |
|
There are still
300 million people in 2,200 known languages that do
not have the Bible, out of 6,913 known languages in
the world today. We are now witnessing the greatest
acceleration of Bible translation in history. Over
700 New Testaments have already been completed by
experienced language translation organizations in
the past 70 years, and work is currently under way
in over 1,900 languages. In 2003 alone, 54.2 million
people from 45 language groups received God's Word
for the first time. In 2004, Bible translation was
begun in 93 languages, an average of approximately one new program start
every 4 days.

|
|
| |
| Where |
 |
|
Most of the unreached languages
lie within the "10/40 window." This is a region of
the earth between 10 degrees and 40 degrees North
of the equator that stretches from Northern Africa,
across the Middle East and India, to China and Southeast
Asia. This region contains 1/3rd of the earth's landmass,
2/3rds of the world's people, and is the largest population
of non-Christians in the world. Did you know that approximately 60,000
people die every day in the 10/40 region without ever
knowing of God and His Word? The need for His message
in every language is urgent and you can do something
about it.

|
| |
 |
| |
| When |
 |
|
With God's blessing and your
help, we can accelerate the pace of Bible translation
and strategically focus on the goal of reaching every
people group with His message in less than 20 years.
Can you believe this can be accomplished in our lifetime?

| Faith Moves Mountains |
 |
|
Why are we
so bold? Because it is God's plan, not just something
we thought up. We are simply aligning ourselves with
His vision for mankind. Jesus Himself tells us in
Matthew 17:20 that if we have faith as small as a
mustard seed that we can say to a mountain, "Move
from here to there," and it will move. Nothing will
be impossible for us. With God's blessing, we want
to "move the mountain" of God's Word to every people
group. By striving to accomplish something God-sized,
we are trusting Him for the impossible so that He
will be glorified. Aren't you anxious to see what
incredible mountains God will move before us as we
step out in faith?

| How Are Funds Disbursed |
 |
|
Available resources are used to fund Bible translation projects
by experienced organizations and partnerships with
qualified teams of linguistic experts, using the latest
advancing technologies. By facilitating the mobilization,
logistics, and distribution of God's message; while
meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the people
we seek to serve, we are demonstrating God's love
for all people groups. At least 90% of monthly recurring
contributions received go directly to program funding.
Language translation projects are evaluated, prioritized,
and funded in periodic stages as program objectives
are achieved. As funds flow out to each
project, accountability flows back in to assure that
objectives are being met and that God's resources
are being stewarded appropriately.

| What's With The Wristbands |
 |
After you join the team, we will send you a dark red
silicone "awareness" wristband imprinted with " WORD
To HEART." The intentions for it are as follows:

- To thank you for your participation.
- To remind you to pray for Bibleless peoples
and those doing the translation work.
- To remind you that you are the key to spreading
the vision. When friends ask you about the wristband,
you can hand them a small card, with which we
will provide you, to refer people to the web site
for more information.
- When you see someone you don't know with the
same wristband, you will recognize that you both
share the same goal - to further God's Kingdom.
- Imagine the conversations that will be sparked
and the synergy that will result from pulling
thousands of Christians together in thought, action,
and prayer to accomplish God's mission.
- To show your support for the Word To
Heart vision.
Wristband sizing note:
- Large sized wristbands are 8 inches in circumference.
- Medium sized wristbands are 7 1/8 inches in
circumference.
To confirm correct size, you can cut
a piece of paper approximately ½ inch wide by the
above lengths, put around your wrist and tape the
ends together to represent how your new wristband
will fit.
